Client-Server Integration  | The first tier is the user interface—a client station running on the user's computer. Five types of stations are available: .Net, Java, PocketPC, Mobile and HTML. The second tier is the ProTrader server that hosts a collection of functional modules that actually process data. The third tier is a database management system (DBMS) that stores data required by the middle tier. This tier runs on a second server called the database server. DataSource is a connectivity component providing the platform with online market data and external order routing. PTL Builder is an integrated development environment designed specifically for developing, debugging and testing trading strategies and indicators, supporting a native language called ProTrader Language and several thrird-party scripting languages. |
